Our customer has a 40-year-old sunroom on the back of his home overlooking the bay in Toms River, NJ. The insulated glass panels, as well as a lot of the surrounding wood structure, had failed due to age, and was in need of replacing. We scheduled a site visit and went over the available options. We ordered all the materials, and when everything came in we scheduled the installation date. We also had to line up a carpenter to join us on the job to handle all of the wood repairs and replacement as well. We removed all of the failed insulated glass units and wood, and all were replaced with new materials. We installed high-performance insulated Low E tempered glass units to help combat the intense sun and heat that they get being directly on the water. The finished product was outstanding, and our customer was over the moon with the quality of workmanship, as well as the safety and thermal efficiency of the new materials provided.
