Our customer was in the market for a steam shower enclosure installation. He had recently renovated the bathroom and all the existing tile work. We provided him with a new completely frameless steam shower enclosure. All of the glass panels are 1/2″ thick clear tempered glass, and the door and transom above are done in 3/8” clear tempered glass. The transom is equipped with operable pivot clamps that allow the transom to be opened and closed to a desired position to allow just the perfect amount of steam to escape the shower. The hardware was all completed in a brushed nickel finish to match all of the existing bathroom fixtures. They chose a unique combination handle and towel bar. This comes in handy not only to open and close the shower door but provides the option to hang a towel as well. The final addition to this beautiful enclosure is the Shower Guard protection. This is a feature that is manufactured into the glass at the factory. Although it is still recommended to clean and squeegee the glass after showering, the Shower Guard protection helps minimize long-term buildup of water spots, and soap scum on the glass. This is especially beneficial if hard water is a concern, and helps maintain the beauty and clarity of the glass for years to come. We are very proud of this installation and our customer is thrilled with the final product as well!
