Our customer was in need of renovating a new location he had acquired. He was interested in converting an Aamco service shop into a healthcare facility. There was an existing garage door that he wanted to remove, and create an opening to have storefront installed. We scheduled an appointment, and measured the space. We designed the storefront with him to his desired layout and style, and ordered the materials. We coordinated with his contractor to have the garage door removed, the opening created, and scheduled us to come in immediately after. Everything went smoothly, and we installed the aluminum and glass in one day. He opted for 2” x 4-1/2” clear anodized aluminum framing which is designed to accept insulated glass. We installed 1” double pane insulated glass units which will provide thermal efficiency, and help keep the building warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. The glass was sealed with rubber gaskets, and the entire perimeter caulked with commercial grade exterior sealant. The finished product was outstanding and our customer couldn’t be happier.
