The Livingston Car Wash had recently begun construction on their new location at West Northfield Road in Livingston, NJ. Upon commencement of the project we met with the general contractor onsite to go over the desired framing, glass specifications, and layout. They were interested in aluminum framing and insulated glass. The job had to be coordinated and scheduled properly, as there were many other trades performing their jobs at the same time. Once the project was underway all of the materials were ordered.
Upon receipt of the materials, everything was cut and fabricated at our shop in East Hanover. The customer chose 2” x 4-1/2” clear anodized aluminum framing, and 1” insulated glass which was tempered for safety where required by law. Everything was installed accordingly and in a timely fashion. Aluminum break metal was applied to any gaps and caulked in, and the glass units were sealed with rubber gasket material.
The finished product was exceptional. The customer was overly satisfied, and the end result is a brand new facility with modern storefront glazing materials that aren’t only thermally efficient, but pleasing to the eye as well.
