Our customer at The East Hanover Library was interested in Covid safety shields for their reception desk. They wanted full coverage with an opening at the bottom to pass thru books, payments, and documents. We fabricated “T” style wooden braces and installed them directly to the counter top. The 1/4″ clear Plexiglas was then attached to the wooden braces. The crystal clear appearance of the shields is virtually invisible, yet creates an effective barrier between the employees and patrons providing safety in minimizing germ transmission. The library staff is overly pleased with the finished product, and the peace of mind that these safety shields provide.
